I'm trying to 'make' a newer version of Art's utils2 and getting the following
errors.
adamski cars: make
INFORMIXC=cc esql -Ae -DHAVE_GNU_GETOPT=1 -o ul ul.ec -L/usr/lib -lgencc: "ul.ec", line 562: error 1588: "SQLBIGSERIAL" undefined.

constants.
cc: "ul.ec", line 564: error 1588: "SQLINFXBIGINT" undefined.

cc: "ul.ec", line 1234: error 1588: "SQLINFXBIGINT" undefined.
cc: "ul.ec", line 1234: error 1569: Case label expressions must be integral
constants.
make: *** [ul] Error 1
I have changed Makefile file
CFLAGS=-O -Ae
EDFLAGS=-Ae
CC=cc
What did I miss?
John
What version of the CDSK are you using? I tried to make the implementation
of BIGINT and BIGSERIAL work with older compilers, but I don't have one
handy to test. Let me know what version and I'll try to fix it and get you
an update. Email me directly if you want.

Art,
Sorry about not including the SDK version we are still on 2.90, our
application can't yet handle any newer versions.

Thanks, no problem. You could install CSDK 3.50 in a separate directory and
if you add the -static option to the makefiles (makefile and
myschema.d/myschema.mk.norcs) you'll be able to use it on a server with the
2.90 CSDK/iClient installed. But, I'll try to improve the #ifdef's
protecting the BIGINT/BIGSERIAL code so you can compile it under 2.90 over
the weekend and let you know.
