The ISOLATION and LOCK MODE are in force from the time when the statement
is executed until a new mode is set. With a single database in use, there
are no implicit mode changes; if you close the current database and open a
new one, then the modes will be changed to the default for that database:
UNLOGGED DIRTY READ
LOGGED COMMITTED READ
MODE ANSI REPEATABLE READ
The lock mode changes to NOT WAIT for all cases.
