Cannot read system catalog (systables)

We have IDS 9.40. I created a view called SalesReport for a report that we are creating. It worked ok. After a while we found out that the view needed to be modified. Dropped the view and recreated it. Not I cannot query anymore that queue or delete or replace it. When I try to drop it or read from it, I get the following: Cannot read system catalog (systables). If I try to create the view again I get: Cannot update system catalog (systables) But I can read, write, to any table or view, and can create other views just fine. Also the crystal report when connected to the database shows no Tables or Views at all anymore. However, I am able from the same report to see other db that are on the same server. Please help what to do. Thanks a lot. Genti

We have IDS 9.40.
I created a view called SalesReport for a report that we are creating.
It worked ok. After a while we found out that the view needed to be
modified.
Dropped the view and recreated it.
Not I cannot query anymore that queue or delete or replace it.
When I try to drop it or read from it, I get the following:
Cannot read system catalog (systables).
If I try to create the view again I get:
Cannot update system catalog (systables)
But I can read, write, to any table or view, and can create other
views just fine.
Also the crystal report when connected to the database shows no Tables
or Views at all anymore. However, I am able from the same report to
see other db that are on the same server.
Please help what to do.
Thanks a lot.
