ANNOUNCE: DBD::Informix Version 0.53 released

The next release of DBD::Informix, version 0.53, has been uploaded to CPAN. New in this release: * Changes in attribute names as forecast. * Bug fix for Oyvind Gjerstad (ogj@tglobe1.tollpost.no) NULL problem. * Added notes on using the OWS supplied with LiveWire Pro to Informix.Licence * Added check on test environment before writing Makefile! Also insist that INFORMIXDIR is explicitly set, and $INFORMIXDIR/bin is on PATH. You get stroppy message about reading README if you don't have the environment set OK. Still to do: * Next set of changes to attributes (you won't be able to turn the warnings off). * Get the driver-level attributes working (ix_CurrentConnection & ix_ActiveConnections). * Investigate whether explicit variable binding will allow blob updates. * Consider adding LOAD and UNLOAD features. * Add system catalogue queries (based on info_cols).
