Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I'm working with Informix Workgroup Server 7.22 on WinNT 4.0 SR3.
After deleting several thousand rows from a table, i got the error:
logical logs are full, please make a backup of logical log files.
When i look at the server, the informix-server is down and unavailable.
So i cannot make a backup of the logical logs. When i try to set the
server to administration or online mode, i get a timeout-error and in
the NT-Events i read: the logical files are full, please make a backup?
So how can i make a backup of the logical logs with a server that is
unavailable?

I have found the solution:
I could not use the GUI interface for the backup, i had to use
onbar -lNow everything is fine.
