The script as you have written it is bound to interleave the two reports. What you want to use (assuming a UNIX machine) is: START REPORT x1 TO PIPE "lpr" START REPORT x2 TO PIPE "lpr" rest of script is fine. When you finish report x1, it gets the first id. Then, finishing x2 is guarenteed because of the way spoolers work, to get a different (probably subsequent) id that will be printed out afterwards. If you are not on a UNIX system, then I would use: START REPORT x1 TO "x" START REPORT x2 TO "y" ... ... FINISH REPORT x1 FINISH REPORT x2 And then put in the relevent RUN commands to print these two files to the printer. My memory of DOS commands (which I never use) suddenly failed me. Hope this helps.
