You could go through the pain of figuring out all of the constraint issued and unload all of the files using HPL or unload and then load them back in using HPL or load but I would not recommend it. Dbexport does all of this work for you, the only cost is time. When I was a DBA on a Oracle/PeopleSoft project we had to use export/import to clone databases. It took a long time (no pun intended) but that was/is the cost of cloning databases.
