The bug only apears in RDS versions of 4GL. Personally, I was hoping they'd fix it in 4.1. Anyway, call Informix Tech. support and ask them to fax you that 23 page thingy on the 4518 error. It will show you what causes the error and some possible workarounds. Depending on the application, sometimes the workarounds worked, sometimes they didn't.
