John, If you haven't used any other option statements then your comment line will be displayed on LAST-1 (Eg line 23) When the construct starts it places the comment from the first field here so wiping out your last message. I expect if you do not have comments it displays a blank line so as to remove the last comment line used for a different field. This should happen with imput statements as well. Rule of thumb decide on which lines your various messages are going to appear such as MESSAGES, PROMPT, COMMENT and leave them there. If you must change during the application be sure to check that you wont interfere with message lines that already exist. Hope this helps.
