checkpoint problem

I am runnind IDS 7.31 on HPUX 11 and my check points a taking too long.
What do I need to change.

Try to increase LRU_MAX_DIRTY and LRU_MIN_DIRTY to 2 and 1
It might just be that the checkpoints take longer when cleaners never
sleep
as LRU_MIN_DIRTY is set to 0.
The CLEANERS are responsible for background page cleaning as well
as for checkpoint page cleaning.
