I don=27t know about the 7.2x series but in 7.1x the value in this field = does not necessarily give back the actual server release number. i = understand the value only changes if there have been internal system table = changes between versions. the upgrade process reads this value and knows = whether it has to make any internal changes (the stuff you back out with = onmode -b), and I have learned from bitter experience (it wasn=27t me that =did it I swear=21) that if you change the value in this field, by for = instance, globally setting table ownership, then your upgrades are = basically screwed.
