Re: Data Administration - Anyone Interested?

I think we should all be aware of the amount of work Walt puts into keeping c.d.i operational. However, the time is coming when we are going to need to make some radical decisions about this newsgroup. We cannot carry on being reliant on one individual and the charity of his organisation to provide what is fast becoming a very active conference. There are numerous suggestions about splitting the newsgroup into a number of other topics - and there are many suggestions of cross feeding with other new newsgroups. What we need to find is a commercial operation who will provide us with a service of hosting informix newsgroups and web servers etc. If anybody has any ideas on organisations who could provide such a service or is willing to commit their organisation to providing the service I would welcome the suggestions.
