Well, i have a little trouble i don't understand. I have a little table with 2 fields : NODEMEMO) signed integer, size : 4 CONTMEMO) String memo, size : 3002 (blob) Primary key : PARNOMEM (works with NODEMEMO) When i want to restore the table, it doesn't restore all the records A friend of mine told me it's because of the blob that stores caracters interpreted as EOF... (??) Any idea about what am i talking ? :)
Restore how? From what? Using what tools? Blob data containing non-printable characters, like wordprocessing files and images, must be exported to delimited files using a tool which can quote the non-printables so that they will not be interpreted as EOR or EOF characters, yes. Try Jonathan Leffler's sqlcmd package. Art S.
