I looked all over the Informix web site and could not find out if any of the Informix servers were Windows 2000 compatible. Does anyone know if version 7.31 of informix is compatible? Kyle Please respond to my email address kdawso5@sears.com
I tried to install 7.31 over Windoz 2K and it did not even install. It seemed that the installer kept thinking that the OS wasn't an NT Server and therefore, only the client options were enabled. I had to downgrade my OS to NT 4 Imran. No it did not work. Actually, I could not even install it. The installer kept thinking that the OS was not NT and therefore, only the client options were enabled in the setup. Imran.
I got past the install part by going to each subdirectory and then the cdrom directory and running the setup program from DOS. In order for this to work you must pass a parameter to the setup program. The parameter I used was ?, not sure why that works but it does i.e. D:\\isd\\cdrom\\setup.exe /? When you do this, it will install each piece of Informix one by one. New Reader wrote: > No it did not work. Actually, I could not even install it.
