RE: compiling Informix 4GL and Genero from the same source code

I wanted to thank everyone who considered my request and especially to those who responded. I suspect that the preprocessor suggestions are probably the ultimate solutions. However, Mr. Leffler's special commenting options are allowing me to test in the interim. Thanks. -- Randall Young randall.young@arkansas.gov<mailto:randall.young@arkansas.gov> From: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:informix-list-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of Randall Young (ADE) Sent: Monday, April 04, 2011 9:00 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: compiling Informix 4GL and Genero from the same source code I have been trying to convert my existing 4gl programs to Genero. Generally, it has been fairly easy. What I would like to do is use the same source code for both programs. This seems to require that the source code compile under both programs. I notice that there is a preconpiler option from Genero with commands like &ifdef. Is there something similar for Informix so that I can utilize the differences in 4gl and Genero? Thanks. 11.50.FC5
