Hi, we have enabled informix audit logs for our database. We want to automatically ship these logs to syslog server. Is there any facility provided by IDS engine to automatically ship these logs to syslog server? Regards, Anees

One reason, not necessarily a good one, is the danger of overwhelming the syslog system; a high-volume database server can generate an awful lot of audit records if you are not moderately careful. How much interest is there in having the option to send all audit log information to syslog()? -- Jonathan Leffler <jonathan.leffler@gmail.com> #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix - v2008.0513 - http://dbi.perl.org "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused." --0016368e2ffb3da16f04a0300afd
