RE: logical log cannot be freed
The logical log status flag "UB" really means the log is backed up and = free to reuse. Use onmonitor to add logs (while quiescent), do a level 0 archive to make them available, and try running your task again. How may logs? Make at least 10. This gives Informix enough leeway to rollback most 'long transactions'.
