Error -556 on @ reference

In IDS_A have a stored procedure do_some that has a insert into a local table. In IDS_B have a stored procedure do_some that does: call base@IDS_A:do_some(); Calling this sp works ok. In IDS_C i try to run: call base@IDS_B:do_some(); Fails with error -556 Cannot create, drop, or modify an object that is external to current database. Why ? IDS_A IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC6 IDS_B IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC9 IDS_C IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC9 The situation is more complex but this simplified path reproduces the error.
