I really did make sure that the owner/group ids are correct and the
access permissions are -rw-rw-- on the raw device. Here some ls-l:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 informix informix 83 Jun 5 20:26 root_chunk ->
/devices/iommu@f,e0000000/sbus@f,e0001000/espdma@f,400000/esp@f,800000/sd@2,0:h,raw
crw-rw---- 1 informix informix 32, 23 Feb 26 1996
/devices/iommu@f,e0000000/sbus@f,e0001000/espdma@f,400000/esp@f,800000/sd@2,0:h,raw
This is indeed my problem: everything looks top be set up ok but and I
assume then that the error message might be misleading. On the other
hand it is sometimes getting late and I probably have missed something.
Any ideas ?
Thanx,
Chris
