I'll take pity on you. A. RTFM B. create an onconfig file in the 'install dir/etc' directory and edit it with the appropriate values (start with onconfig.std and copy it). C. edit the sqlhosts file in the same directory as above ( make sure that the entry(s) match the dbservername in onconfig). D. add any services defined in sqlhosts to /etc/services E. add appropriate entries to /etc/system F. set the following environment variables: INFORMIXSERVER,INFORMIXDIR,ONCONFIG G. exec oninit (do oninit -i the FIRST time only) H.
