Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Is there a command to force the engine to show me what all the onconfig
parameters (and other perhaps unknown parameters) have been set to?

Use oncheck -pr to see what they were set to last time you brought up the
engine, onstat -c to print out the current onconfig file (not necessarily what
you are running with), or run a query against sysconfig (select * from
sysconfig;). Especially interesting in sysconfig is the effective and
original column. You can see what has changed.

At Informix Online 7.23, there is a sysmaster table that tells you what the
archive pages recognize. I use it but don't have my scripts in front of
me. Take a gander through the sysmaster tables and you will probably guess
the name of the table. Be advised that some of the onconfig variables can
be modified without bouncing the engine and they won't be in the sysmaster
table.
