Backup monkey?

I have a SCO box with an informix database. When I run backup's it takes 3 tapes (I have four slots). Is there anyway I can have it write to consecutive slots instead of asking for the next tape in the same slot? It takes about 8 hours to backup one box. Please help. You know I missed the obvious solution, set TAPEDEV to a link and have the backup script relink it whenever it prompts for a new tape using and expect script. Art S.
