dbexport - syntax error

Hi all, I have a problem with dbexport. When I want to run it like dbexport -c DATABASEall seems fine at first, BUT after about 200Megas of files written to disc I get an ominous "syntax error". I have to admit that I just want to save the data and I don't know anything about this Informix database which runs on a P200 SCO-Unix server and I also don't know SCO-Unix just basic Unix. I don't know the version of the Informix database and I forgot the version of SCO. I think the system is more than 5 years old if that helps. What's wrong? Now I know more about the system: INFORMIX-OnLine 5.03.UC2 running on SCO UNIX System V/386 Release 3.2 All I want to do is a complete ('-c') export. MfG / Regards Friedrich Lobenstock
