Informix OL v7.2x on NT

I have just installed v7.22 on NT Server 4.0 with the latest service packs. I also have SQL Server installed on the same system, but not running at the same time. My problem is when I attempt to connect to the database from another system, the connect time is very slow. I am using IConnect 7.20 on the client and connecting with the tools in the ROM, Database Explorer, SQL Editor. All client side variables are set indentically to what I am using on another network connecting to a 7.13 server on a RS6000 running AIX 3.2.5. I would like to think that the NT version can perform better than this. The interesting part is after about 1 minute trying to connect, I can perform a query and get results back faster than I can on my RS6000. Partly do to better hardware. If anyone has any idea what is killing my connect time I would greatly appreciate there wisdom. PS> The protocol that I am using is TCP/IP & onsoctcp. Thanks Nicholas Twerdochlib nikel@bellsouth.net
