Re: CASE Tools for Informix ?

I started my Informix career using 4Gen CASE and accounting many years ago. I can attest that their CASE tools are 1st class -- however the tools I worked with were character based. I haven't worked with their products for about 4 years -- and believe they have moved into windows based products, but have no knowledge of the quality of these. They basically had the CASE tools and an accounting package -- they used one to build the other (and visa versa). I think the tools were great -- the accounting package ok if you needed something that had the ability to highly customize. I think they basically passed this portion of their business of to their VARS (Steve Collins in LA one of the major players in this), and have been concentrating their efforts in very large installations since then.
