Re: 4GL Menu Question

First please turn off HTML posting. If you are using Netscape you do that as follows: Edit/Preferences/Mail&News/Composition uncheck the "Use HTML Composition window" If you are using some other program please try to turn off the MIME/HTML part in some other way. As to you question we do this all the time by simply letting the only code for each item be a call to some function. Then you can use that call wherever you want. The only thing that *might* have been a problem with this is that the menu option isn't highlighted. However we *never* leave the menu on screen while some other code is beeing executed anyway. We replace it with some info on what is beeing executed. Leaving the menu we have found to confuse the user.
