If you're on a PC and using the WTK client, you can run multiple sessions and only use one license - they are counted by the IP address. 2. If you're starting character-based sessions, each session will take a license, even if they're from telnets from the same PC. I'm not yet sure how to eliminate the login box. Perhaps it's a setting in the WTKSRV.INI file on the PC, but I haven't been able to figure it out. /Ron ________________________________________________________________________ Ron Flannery <mailto:rflanner@informixhandbook.com>, 248-887-8470x40 Lead author, Informix Handbook President, One Point Solutions "Your Complete Reference" "Informix & Web/Database solutions" http://www.informixhandbook.com http://www.one-point.com ________________________________________________________________________
