Ok, so what is a CDR_DSLOCKWAIT? I cannot find any documentation on this in the Informix Admin Guide and yet when I run oncheck -cr, it shows an onconfig file error .... Value in reserved page: 0 Value in Config file: 5 Thanks Robin

With Enterprise Replication, the DataSync is the replay thread on the target system. It really runs as an internal transaction. Since it is a transaction, it is in competition with normal user sqlexec threads for the same resources. When the DataSync thread is running, it does an internal version of "set lock mode to wait <CDR_DSLOCKWAIT>". This is documented in the "Guide to Informix Enterprise Replication".
