Yes, of course, if you _need_ a half-assed, completely daft, half-finished operating system with bollocks tools, compulsory reboots, shite performance and poor scalability as part of your application, NT is definitely the way to go. I would not laud the performance/scalability/etc. of NT over UNIX, but, yes, I use it, and yes, it works fine for my applications. My applications? Letting dumb end users have a good database at a reasonable price. There are plenty of applications that do not involve mission critical (or anything close to is) performance nor the involvement of qualified personal (one of the better points of Informix).
