Rows affected?

Greetings,
I have an application (Power Builder) that us being used to make
inserts, updates, and deletes and the user would like to know how many rows
were affected by one of these operations. Is there a way to capture the
"rows affected" and return it to the application? (ie, similar to what is
returned if using Sql Editor)
Info window in Sql Editor
-- Executing selected SQL statements in Untitled.sql.
update backup_log_tbl set success_failed = "failed"
where complete_dt < "2004-04-30 00:00:00.000";-- 10 rows updated.

You probably want to take a look at the DBINFO function. The
'sqlca.sqlerrd2' option will return an integer value that gives you the
number of rows processed. See the IBM Informix Guide to SQL: Syntax for
details.

Yes, you can use DBINFO to do it.
See SQL Guide for see the sintaxis options.
