Senior Level candidate needed to work within business and I/S Management Team to define the scope, objectives, conceptual and/or technical specifications for advanced apparel manufacturing systems, including Garment Tracking, Daily Posting, ACT, and Team Production. Provide leadership to a team of application developers associated with the incumbent's assigned projects. Ensure that applications are properly developed and maintained to provide desired functionality within the desired timeframes. Work heavily as part of installation teams implementing UNIX systems off-shore. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree with major in Computer Science, Bus. Adm., or Math; demonstrated success in the design, creation, implementation, and support of LARGE MIS projects and in the leadership of a team of application developers; 8 yrs. application development experience including MS-DOS, and UNIX-based microcomputers and their associated development languages & Dbs required; proficiency in C, INFORMIX, B-Trieve, Novell required; Clarion proficiency is desired; Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are STRONGLY DESIRED; Working knowledge of 3090 mainframe Datacom, DB2, CICS, is desired as well as general knowledge of microcomputer based $GL and/or client/server technology. *** EXTENSIVE TRAVEL TO OFF-SHORE LOCATIONS IS REQUIRED.
