Help !
My engine has crashed twice in the past 3 days, & I don't really have any ideas why, except that I
believe it related to shared memory somehow. ?
The system has been very stable - until now. There have been no changes that I'm aware of.
The os has not been swapping at all, and their are now others applications running on this server.
We have approx 200 users accessing this system, which is predominantly oltp.
No kaio enabled.
System HP K450, 640 mb memory HPUX 10.20, ids 7.23.UC5
error........
mt .c, line 5977, thread 14, proc id 26008, Invalid mutex type.
Panic attempting to bring system down.

[SNIP] This sounds VERY familiar. I never ran 7.23 but we may have seen it in another version. Call tech support they will research other cases and may be able to say: "Oh yeah that is bug #987984779425927 and it was fixed in 7.23UC99, 7.24UC3, and is not existent in 7.3x". Art S. Kagel
