Hi,
is it possible to manipulate the output-style of numeric fields in
dbaccess/isql ?
Example for decimal:
create table test (
id int,
decfield decimal(5,2)
);
select decfield / 1000 from test;
The output is 2 numbers for mantissa. But is it possible to get more ?
TIA
Dirk

Hi Dirk,
if you use isql you can format the output with the ACE report tool.
HTH,

I don't use decimal columns, but with float columns
you can:
setenv DBFLTMASK <# of digits of precision>
i.e. setenv DBFLTMASK 10
I'm doing this from memory, but I think the environment variable is
correct and that I found it in some release notes for either isql or
dbaccess.

Hi all,
thanks for help. The DBFLTMASK=-1 works well.
