Still (choking a bit on the pie), post a complete onstat -l (including
the header) from your busy period (i.e. just after you have tanked
through 75 of them). Just to see if the logs are "complete" logs, if you
have HDR involved or PTEXTENDS or ... SOMETHING is using up loads and
loads of log space. Temp tables with logging without an extent size
being created and dropped??
Do you have loads of small oltp transactions? Maybe interesting to
actually see what activity IS going on when you go through them at a
high rate. onlog -l a couple of pages and see what is in them.
