Need help with Uniplex.

We need a consultant to help us tune up our unix software. Environment: SCO Unix 3.2.4, TCP/IP, NFS Uniplex 7.01, 8 users, heavy SQL use. I attribute the problems we are having to poor locking performance by the Informix 2.1 bundled with uniplex. Symptom is that the database uform screen shows "Busy" in the upper left corner for too long (sometimes). I think Informix 4 must be better; but do not want to purchase without some assurance that it would help. No additional functionality needed - just speed. If anyone out there knows Uniplex and Informix, well, they could help in the following way: 1 day diagnosing the problem. 1/2 day recomending software solution(s). I think we could implement a recomended solution - install additional products, although I do not preclude need for additional services. We developed most of the SQL ourselves. Please let me know if you would like to offer your services to us.
