Has someone already installed INFORMIX-Online/Optical Version 6.0 on an HP9000/800 running HP-UX 9.04 with an HP optical autochanger attached to it ? Is there a special library (libopt.a) required and if yes where is it available ? I have only the technical datasheet of Online/Optical available and it says: "The Online/Optical API consists of two layers. The internal layer manages the interaction between Online Dynamic Server and the API, and the external layer controls the interaction between the API and the optical subsystem. It is this architecture that allows Online/Optical to support the integration of optical subsystems from multiple third-party vendors. Vendors who support the Online/Optical API develop software libraries that are linked directly to Online ***************************************************** Dynamic Server during installation of Online/Optical."
