Much of the "new" syntax related to engine commands is not directly
accessable to 4GL (EXECUTE PROCEDURE, for example). I suspect this is
what you're running into. What you can to is send it as a PREPARED
statement:
PREPARE st_set FROM "SET CONSTRAINTS ALL DEFERRED"
EXECUTE st_set
Since I brought it up, you EXECUTE stored procedures the same way;
PREPARING a statement (with ? for place holders as required). If the
SPL does NOT return values, you can EXECUTE ... USING .... If the SPL
DOES return values, you DECLARE, OPEN ... USING ..., and FETCH (i.e.:
treat is as a SELECT CURSOR).
