Hi everybody, I need to eliminate the first 3 charactes of the value in a CHAR variable, for example LET myvar="MV NAME" I need to eliminate "MV " and to let myvar with the value "NAME". I have searched for string manipulation documentation in the documents : 4GL By Example 4GL Concepts and Use 4GL Reference Manual and I did not find anything. Any help would be appreciate. Thanks sending to informix-list
How about... LET myvar = myvar[4,n] Where n = the size of the variable used by it's DEFINE statement.
