I have IDS 2000 on win NT server 4.0

this on my bar log file :

2000-09-26 09:57:30 103 103 Begin backup logical log 1.
2000-09-26 09:57:32 103 103 Successfully connected to Storage Manager.
2000-09-26 09:57:33 103 103 XBSA Error: (BSACreateObject) A system
error occurred. Aborting XBSA session.
2000-09-26 09:57:33 103 103 The logical logs are full. ON-Bar may

Obviously not enough. Do you have LBU_PRESERVE set? Then the last logical
log file is empty but unusable. You have to shutdown, change LBU_PRESERVE
to zero (0), restart in quiescent mode (oninit -s), then backup the logical
logs. This problem is the purpose of LBU_PRESERVE to reserve one logical
log file for recording the logical log backup event (and in the case of
onbar the sysutils mods) in the log itself. Um, I'm not sure you can run
onbar in quiescent mode but perhaps you do, however, that is just to keep
users from using up the last log during the archive so...

So i think i have no configure ISM correctly. But i try to do it and when i want do ism_op to label my device with volume pool i have a message who say "invalid pool name 'ISMData'" ( comand : ism_op -label % ISM_DISKDEV1% -volume ISMData -pool ISMData -force ). Where i find the list of pool ? I read my ONCONFIG file and i see the ISM pool parameters set to 'ISMData' for ISM_DATA_POOL and 'ISMLogs' for ISM_LOG_POOL. Why i don't use the pool 'ISMData' ? -- Yann PICHOT ypichot@sigma.fr SIGMA Informatique poste : 1690 La Gesvrine - 3 rue Newton - BP 4127 44241 La Chapelle Sur Erdre - FRANCE Tel : +33 02 40 37 66 20 Site web : http://www.sigma.fr Fax : +33 02 51 12 79 52 Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
