PB6: Rows Not Deleted

I have a PowerBuilder application which is behaving weird. The application attempts to delete rows from a database residing on an HP-UX 10.20 machine running Informix SE. Sometimes, it succeeds in deleting the rows and at other times it doesn't. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
