Network traffic usage

Hi, I have some problems with some clients working over slower lines, I would like to have one idea about traffic that occurs over my database connections on easy way. Like MegaBytes on real time, I have used wireshark but it just gives individual packets but I need to have information about total network traffic. There is any form to get that? How can I see on real time what are the network traffic for each connection? Thanks for any help. SP sergio.peres@airc.pt
Not sure which version you are on so I will give two answers. You can get
an idea of the amount of data by the number of network read and write calls
done at the network layer with onstat -g ntu. This information is show for
each session. This has been around for a long time. In newer versions you
can look at sysmaster:sysnetworkio table which will give you very detail
information for each database session. OAT also shows this information.
