Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
We've faithfully performed ontape -s and done
level 0 backups daily. We're now trying to restore
after a drive failure and having problems with
ontape -r.After the Physical restore the online.log reports
it completed with 0 pages restored. Then the
Logical Recovery reports "Warning Physical Log
size 1000 is too small."
It then reports return code = 126.
I've tried ontape -r -D rootdbs to try and restore
the data from the tape, but it gives the same
results. Any suggestions would be most
appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and
attention.
Sincerly,
Neil Edwards

You could try changing your physical log size in onconfig.std
