There could be a number of reasons. It could be application, informix
configuration ...
Is it OLTP or batch?
Are you running the update stats as described on the Release notes?
List you onconfig
Reset the stats (onstat -z) before a time when you expect performance
issues. Then after a significant time list the following:
onstat -p
onstat -d
onstat -g ioq
onstat -g seg
onstat -m
We may be able to make suggestions.

Subject: [ifxmaillist] Performance IDS - IBM F50
Hi,
I have a IBM F50, with 4 CPU's, 512 Mb, Disc array 1 (48/24 Gb).
I'm using IDS 7.30.UC6 and RDS 7.20.UD6.
I'm having some performance problems, and I'd like to know if someone
who had the same, and making the upgrade solved it, or just making some
changes in the ONCONFIG file resolved the performance problem, ie
OPTCOMPIND or some other.I do not have tables with more than 8 extents, and my critical areas
are in different dbspaces.
thanks
