How well does it port to platforms > other than the IBM RISC 6000? Have you heard of Covalent Systems in Fremont, CA. Their only business is software of the type described above for the printing industry. The product is Informix Online based and runs on SCO UNIX, ALTOS UNIX, DEC RISC(ULTRIX) and RS6000(AIX). I recall that they have over 1000 customer sites including some large ones like all of the Canadian Government's printing offices. Their phone number is 510/683-3900. I worked there a couple of years back. -- Daniel Wood daniel@starsight.com, dwood@informix.com The opinions expressed herein are those of myself, my employers, the carriers of this news message or any other messages for that matter, you the reader and any of your relations(whether by birth or chromosome count), all life forms and all inanimate objects.
