Take a look at the file sgidsh in $INFORMIXDIR/bin, and be sure it has the
following permissions and ownership:
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root informix 172032 Jun 22 1992 sgidsh
sgidsh is used to execute the system command in SPL (so the correct user
and group ids are maintained, since the server process fiddles with them).
