Native Informix Drivers with Coldfusion

Hello all, I hope someone has some insight into this one. I have ColdFusion for Linux 4.5 running and verifying ODBC datasources with IDS 7.30UC7 on a RH 7.0 box. I have read the Deja Posts and Allaire sites for information on what settings to use for Native drivers with no success. If anyone can assist me in getting these operational, I would be able to side step an "Could Not do a physical-order read to fetch next row" error that occurs with the Merant ODBC drivers. The application has the Lock Mode Set to wait and the Isolation is set to Dirty read. Merant sez it is an Informix bug, Informix sez it is a Merant bug. Hopefully using the native drivers can get around this situation. Thanks for any and all help and if I get a solution I will post it. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
I have never been able to get informix "native" drivers to work with either coldfusion 4.0x or 4.5 on informix 7.2x, 7.3x. or 9.2x on solaris 2.5x, solaris 2.6 or solaris 8. The only way I have been able to get coldfusion to connect to informix is using odbc. You might try using informix's odbc drivers instead of merant's: Driver=/opt/informix/lib/cli/iclis09b.so Description=INFORMIX 3.3 32-BIT In article <90u5gk$tv$1@nnrp1.deja.com>, dba_in_orlando@my-deja.com wrote: > Hello all, > I hope someone has some insight into this one.
