4GL Run-Time only

I have compiled a 4gl under 6.04 on 1 SCO machine. I then ftp the .4ge to another SCO machine with a 7.2 Run-Time License. When I try to execute the .4ge I get the message telling me to install a Run-time facility first. I've tried re-installing the run-time with the same results. You cannot run a 6.04 compiled program under a 7.xx runtime. Install a 6.04 runtime on the target machine. Your one chance is to link all the message files in $INFORMIXDIR/msg/en_us/0333 into $INFORMIXDIR/msg That MIGHT work. Art S. Kagel
