The way I am handling the event of new data in the database is that the routine that puts the information in the database will send a USR1 signal to the program. If my program is in the middle of doing any database work, I get a error -408 returned. If you look into the manual for a description of the problem it just says to exit the program and start again :-(. I have tried to disable the interrupt using sigprocmask(). The signal gets blocked but the error still occurrs. Has anyone else has this problem? I am running Informix on SCO Unix. | Alan Sengillo PHONE: (716) 726-9716 or 477-3503 | | Internet: sengillo@Kodak.Com | | USMAIL: Eastman Kodak Co., Dept. 698, 2-1-EP, Rochester NY, 14653-5108 |
