That's definetly not enough.
Go to the software archives at http://www.iiug.org and get the
utils2_ak library. Extract it and compile and use the dostats command.
That will give you all the correct update statistics commands you need
to run.
You can also check your release notes as well as some of the posts on
this issue here in c.d.i. Go to http://www.dejanews.com and search on
posts made by Art Kagel on this subject. He wrote the dostats command
and knows all the intricate details of update statistics.
