I have a functional Informix instance on my RH 6.0 system. I've tweaked my CC line in c4gl, now I can compile and run 4gl programs, well, at least the hello.4gl. I still have one small nagging problem. I can't get CSDK on my system. I get dependency errors for two files called libifgls.so and libifglx.so. Has anyone out there seen this particular problem? I'm really looking forward to playing with ESQL/C. Thanks in advance, John Carlson@home Informix DBA

Unfortunately, rpm's ideas of default dependencies are a bit goofy, and RPM 3.0 seems to be much stricter than 2.x. -- Alan Denney yosemite at accesscom.com "Don't play with your food unless you're sure you can win." -- Thaves
Also had to use --force as well, as there were similiar filenames between the CSDK install and the (previous) IDS install also.
